Dr. Price is a pediatrician and breastfeeding medicine specialist. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from Indiana University and later obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology from Purdue University. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. While in residency she also received pediatric integrative medicine training through The University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and was a medical education scholar. Additionally, Dr. Price is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), with an expertise in breastfeeding medicine.

Dr. Price is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), as well as the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM). She has been involved in numerous breastfeeding projects at both the local and national level. Presently, she is a committee member for the CDC funded development of the AAP Action Plan for physician training around breastfeeding and safe implementation of evidence-based breastfeeding practices in maternity care facilities. She also has a clinical instructor appointment through the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she teaches medical students and residents. 

Dr. Price is a native of Indianapolis, but considers herself a Chicagoan after calling Chicago her home for the past 21 years. She has two beautiful daughters, both of whom have directly inspired her career path. 


Krystal Revai, MD, MHP, FAAP, FABM

Dr. Revai is board certified in Pediatrics, and is a fellow of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. She completed a general pediatrics residency from the Medical Center of Central Georgia, an Academic General Pediatrics fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, and a master’s of public health from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Revai was previously the clinical chief of the division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago  (UIC), as well as the Medical Director of the Mother-Baby Unit at the Children’s Hospital of the University of Illinois. Dr. Revai has a non-faculty appointment at UIC where she cares for newborns. Additionally, she is the Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator for the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and also serves as the Chief Chapter Breastfeeding Coordinator. Dr. Revai is also a founding board member of the Mother’s Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes and currently serves as the vice president of the board.
