We are passionate about babies receiving breastmilk, which is why families can pick up donor milk directly at our office. All babies, regardless whether or not they were born premature qualify for receiving donor breastmilk. In fact, we encourage ALL expectant parents to have a bottle of donor milk on hand in the event that supplementation is required in the early days of breastfeeding. Examples of medically indicated reasons for supplementation include (but are not limited to):

• Low blood sugar

• Excessive weight loss

• Dehydration

• Jaundice

• Insufficient milk production

• Maternal use of certain medications

Milk Depot Site

Got extra milk? We are an official milk depot site for the Mother’s Milk Bank of the Western Great Lakes, which allows registered donors to drop off their milk with us.
